Moon Cake (Blender test)

I wanted to model a snack given to me by my best friend during the Chinese mid-autumn festival. This snack had very unique packaging and I wanted to do something cute with it.

At the time the low-poly food challenge was taking place on Twitter, and although I am late to the party, I have learnt a lot using Blender.

I modeled and uv'd the initial shapes in 3DS Max, then imported into Blender to hand paint textures.

Small details such as the flaky look to the pastry, and texts, were drawn on in Photoshop.
